About the Artist

Nicola Reavley is a Naarm/Melbourne-based painter whose work explores the meeting points between architecture, atmosphere and memory.

Her paintings sit between observation and invention, with familiar places reconfigured in unfamiliar ways.

She has been developing this body of work since 2023, working in oil in the studio and in the field.

Nicky is also a public health researcher whose work on communities and place informs her attention to environments.

This body of work ‘North Garden’, was created over a three year period, 2023 to current. It is her first solo exhibition and can be viewed from July 18th to August 15th at cb One Gallery, Chapman & bailey. 1c Marine Parade Abbotsford.
